Knitted Knockers is one of this year’s chosen charities for the Mossfield Allotments Charity Open Day. It’s a fun day out and a rare chance to have a look around and take part in the event. The site looks fabulous, they have been judged ‘outstanding’ by Britain in Bloom for the last 5 years and are hoping to achieve the same this year. Most of the money raised will be from perennial plant and allotment produce sales, BBQ, homemade cakes and refreshments, the bottle tombola and maybe the sale of a mini knocker keyring of two.
